Belvue building

Progress has been good despite the rain. Osborne’s will be pouring about 3/5 of the ground floor slab on Thursday this week. There will be 20 full loads of ready mix concrete delivered to site. The concrete will be pumped into position using a lorry mounted pump with articulated boom similar to the image below.

The hoarding is almost completed and there are viewing windows so the pupil can observe the work and make sense of the noise!

Work will stop for Xmas on Friday, but Osborne’s will be back to work on the 2nd Jan 19. The groundworkers are back on the 7th Jan 19 so unfortunately there will not be much going on the week of the 2nd to 4th Jan 19.
