5PP Busy Bees....

On Tuesday a group from Belvue college went on a trip to Holland Park Apiary to see and learn about honey bees. The weather was very wet and rainy but the students were resilient and cheerful. We met up with beekeepers from the London Beekeeping Association. The hives could not be opened in the rain so we viewed bees in an observation hive and tried on bee suits.

It was a great way to start the year!
